Who we are

Snookbooks Publishing owner Andrew Snook has a deep passion for the written word. He is a professional storyteller, editor and event creator in the world of B2B publishing with more than a decade of experience. To date, his work has been published in more than 50 print and digital magazines and newspapers. His articles and columns have earned him a variety of accolades including 2020 and 2019 National Magazine Awards (Honourable Mention – Finalist for Trade Article of the Year); nominations for Engineers Canada’s Award of Journalism Excellence in Engineering (2019 and 2013); and winner of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada’s 2010 G20 Toronto National Writing Competition for Journalism Students. Andrew Snook also has a passion for fiction and has released two full-length novels to date, which can be viewed at www.snookbooks.com.

I have worked as a writer and editor for 10 years for a wide variety of publications from local, community newspapers and magazines to national publications covering a wide variety of industries including logging, sawmilling, bioenergy, mechanical sector, heavy construction, aggreates, road building, cranes and hoists, government, rental services, fenestration, pulp and paper, and occupational health and safety. – Andrew Snook
